After drawing thousands of health-care providers in four states to its care-coordination technology, PatientPing Inc. has raised $8 million to expand nationally. Google Ventures , First Round Capital and F-Prime Capital provided the Series A financing. These firms, plus SV Angel and individuals, previously seeded the Boston company with $1.6 million. PatientPing, which has undisclosed customers in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Michigan, has more than 11,000 health-care providers on its network. The company now aims to build a national care-coordination network.
