Software Engineer - Full Stack

Location: Boston, MA

PatientPing is a venture-backed health technology company based in Boston, MA that is transforming healthcare delivery. We are building a national network that connects providers with real-time notifications when their patients receive care anywhere, so that providers can better coordinate patient care. Our customers include hundreds of health systems, physician organizations, and post-acute care providers across the country. Job Description:

We are actively hiring a full-time Java developer who wants to create something meaningful that will greatly impact people's lives. PatientPing supports a number of customer facing web-based applications that facilitate care-coordination. The Java developer will work on all tiers of our application stack and have the opportunity to explore new technologies and approaches as we continue to expand our services. The ideal candidate loves to tackle tough problems, is constantly searching for elegant solutions, and strives for excellence.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the senior engineers to ensure the highest standards and levels of security are met
  • Work closely with the Product team to ensure all of our customer needs are met
  • Maintain and extend an existing production application
  • Be part of a team building and designing light-weight applications
  • Learn best practices and contribute to a culture of excellence

What You Need:

  • 2+ years of Java development
  • The right combination of experience in most of these technologies and a desire to master them all (most desirable listed first):
    • Modern Java frameworks (Sprint Boot preferred)
    • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)
    • Hibernate or other ORM tools
