Data Operations Lead

Location: Boston, MA

PatientPing is a venture-backed health technology company based in Boston, MA that is transforming healthcare delivery. We are building a national network that connects providers with real-time notifications when their patients receive care anywhere, so that providers can better coordinate patient care. Our customers include some of the largest health systems and hundreds of post-acute care providers across the country. Job Description:

We are actively hiring a full-time Data Operations Lead to drive the data behind company-wide decisions. Your insights will influence the way we grow and engage our community, scale our business, and efficiently operate as a team. The types of fascinating and challenging problems you will work on include but are not limited to: establishing metrics that define our community, identify and predict patient utilization patterns, and generate rules to best stratify and route Pings. The right person for this role thrives in an 'all hands on deck' environment, has a strong analytical and research background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information. They are driven and focused self-starters who aggressively tackle their work and love elevating products and processes through the use of data.

What You Will Do:

  • Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist strategic decisions across the company
  • Identify areas in need of improvement and collaborate with internal teams to create scalable solutions
  • Support projects across the operations, community, growth, and product teams
  • Successfully work closely with members of all teams across the company to understand project needs and communicate learnings
  • Run company questions through the research cycle from idea to experimentation to prototype and implementation
  • Develop analytical frameworks to measure the impact of our products and services

What You Need:

  • BS/Masters degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative field
  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate strategic planning, or related fields
  • SQL experience required
  • Unbelievable excel skills
  • Great ability to take the long-term view and think about the business at a strategic level
  • Attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Strong self-starter approach with a track record of proactively getting things done (this also means you are comfortable with ambiguity)
  • An entrepreneurial, motivated, curious, insightful, and determined attitude
